Last Updated: April 29, 2026

Welcome to TaskCart. By accessing or using our application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

TaskCart is a specialized project management and invoicing tool designed exclusively for freelancers. It provides tools for task tracking, project organization, file storage, and financial documentation.

2. User Responsibilities and Account Security

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Acceptable Use: You agree not to use TaskCart for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

3. Subscriptions and Billing

Fees: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis via Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Starting a paid subscription trial (such as the Professional trial) requires entering payment details (credit card or PayPal) during the Paddle checkout process. You will not be charged during the 14-day trial period, and you can cancel anytime. If not cancelled, the trial will automatically transition to a paid monthly subscription.

Refunds: We offer pro-rata refunds if you decide to cancel your subscription mid-cycle.

Price Changes: We will provide at least 30 days' notice for any changes in subscription pricing.

4. Intellectual Property

Our Content: All software, design, and branding of TaskCart are the exclusive property of the founders.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all project data, task descriptions, and files you upload to TaskCart.

5. Freelancer-Client Relationships

TaskCart is a software tool that facilitates your business operations. We are not a party to any contract, agreement, or dispute between you (the freelancer) and your clients. You assume full responsibility for your professional relationships, deliverables, and payment collections outside of the TaskCart platform.

6. Limitation of Liability

TaskCart is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be 100% uninterrupted, completely secure, or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TaskCart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the platform.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate any provision of these Terms of Service.

8. Contact & Changes

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Continued use of TaskCart after any modifications indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
